2016-10-08 Eurus Energy acquires two wind farms in Finland
Eurus Energy completed the transaction to acquire two wind farms in Finland from YARD Energy and Maas Capital Renewables (100% owned by ABN AMRO).
IX acted as the technical advisor of Eurus Energy in evaluating the operating wind farm consisting of during the due diligence, which finally lead to a successful deal.
The two wind farms, Kankaanpäänmäki and Mustaisneva, are located in the Finnish region of Etelä-Pohjanmaa (Southern Ostrobothnia), about 300km to the north of Helsinki. The wind farms, with a total capacity of 27.5 MW, consist of 11 Lagerwey L100-2.5MW direct drive wind turbines with innovative modular steel towers.
The two wind farms are Eurus’ first in Finland and the first using the new Lagerwey technology.
