Wind Power Plant Description
Windpark Nieuwe Hemweg is the result of the restructuring of an existing wind farm in Westpoort. The restructuring consists of removing 8 existing turbines from the same location and 4 others at the “Lely” wind farm from the port of Medemblik. The latter was already done in 2016. 6 new 2-3.3 MW turbines will be installed, increasing the wind farms total capacity from 7.3 MW to 19.8 MW.
